Your First Visit
At your first appointment, Dr D'Aiuto will sit down with you, discuss your dental health, and listen to your concerns. Then he will conduct a very thorough examination including any necessary
x-rays and study models to evaluate your bite.
The initial visit also involves recording your medical history. When you share your medical history with the doctor, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health. Inform your doctor if you have experienced recent hospitalization or surgery, or if you have recently been ill. Also, tell the doctor the names, doses, and frequencies of any medications you are taking — whether prescription or over-the-counter products — and the name of your physician. Inform the doctor of any changes in your health or medications. This information will help the doctor to select the safest and most effective method of treatment for you.
Consultation
After Dr D'Aiuto has evaluated your records, he will meet with you for a consultation appointment. At this time he will review all of his findings in detail and discuss treatment options with you. We will also discuss fees and payment options at this appontment.
Payment & Office Policies
Appointment Policy
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient, please notify our office at least 48 hours in advance to change or cancel an appointment. Failure to do so may result in a missed appointment fee. If your appointment is on a Monday, please notify us by the previous Thursday morning. This may allow another patient adequate notice to attend the available appointment. We understand unexpected things happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.
Financial Policy
Our fees are a reflection of our commitment to excellence. The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We work hard to make dental care affordable and to make sure that you realize your insurance benefits. In an effort to keep fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:
- Payment in full is due at the time of treatment unless other financial arrangements have been made prior to your appointment.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by cash, check, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND DISCOVER.
- To fit individual needs for extensive treatments, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months by using Care Credit.

Insurance
If you have PPO insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available and work with you to best utilize your benefits. Please understand that we file insurance claims as a service to our patients. We do not have a contract with your insurance company; only you do. We can assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment, but we at no time guarantee what your insurance company will do with each claim. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
